A woman has been charged with rape multiple times in Panchbibi Upazila of Joypurhat, threatening to spread the rape video online. The young woman alleged that the video was held after the first time after rape. Last Friday, he was raped on Friday. He filed a case against the three persons at the Panchbibi police station last night.
The accused in the case are Ataur Rahman, Nayan Hossain, and his wife Salma Begum. Police have arrested only Salma among them. He is a resident of a village in Panchbibi Upazila.
The young woman mentioned in the case that Salma Begum is known to him. Two months ago, Salma called him home to tell the story. At this time, Salma gave him jalmuri. Shortly after eating, the young woman became ill. A drug dealer named Ataur Rahman raped the young woman. Ataur secretly holds a video of rape on his cellphone. He threatened to spread the video online and killed the young woman’s father when the incident was reported. He was raped multiple times under this threat. He could not report the incident to anyone for fear of folklore.
The young woman said, ‘I have been raped multiple times by blackmail. Salma Begum and her husband Nayan Hossain are involved in this work. I want everyone to judge. ‘
Panchbibi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mainul Islam said the case was confirmedAtaur Rahman and Nayan Hossain are trying to arrest the main accused.
