A young man has been Dead in a collision between two motorcycles on Noakhali’s Senbag road. Four more were injured. Two of them were burnt. A motorcycle caught fire in the accident.
The accident occurred on the Senbag-Sonaimuri road in the Khajuria-Sardarpara intersection area of Kesharpar Union around 6:45 on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as the MD of Chatarpaiya village of the upazila. Alam’s son Md. Morshed Alam alias Rana (22). The injured are the MD of the Khajuria-Sardarpara area. EKDAD (25), Md. Russell (26), Sonaimuri Bajra Village MD. Hasan (25) and Barogaon Village MD. Naim (25).
Eyewitness and local resident MD. Jamal Hossain told that a motorcycle from Chatarpaiya was moving from Kankirhat to Kankirhat. Khajuria Sardarpara is faced with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. A motorcycle caught fire in the collision.
Md. Jamal Hossain said the two motorcycles were seriously injured in the accident. Two of them were burned in the fire. Locals quickly extinguished the fire, rescued the injured, and took the injured to a private hospital in Chatarpaiya Bazar.
Private hospital manager MD. Mejbah Uddin said, “Five people injured in the accident were brought to the hospital. One of them was brought to a dead condition. The rest of the four were taken to advanced treatment after first aid. ‘
Senbag police sub-inspector (SI) Abdus Salam went to the scene around 10pm on the news of the accident. He told The Circle Buzz ‘I got news of the death of two motorcycles. Legal action will be taken if the family receives complaints. Two accidental motorcycles were seized.’
