After being in a coma for about 20 years, Prince Al-Waleed Bin Khaled Bin Talal has died in Saudi Arabia. His father Prince Khaled Bin Talal said this Saturday.

Prince Al-Waleed was injured in a car accident in London, the UK in 2005. In an accident, his brain was seriously injured and he suffered internal bleeding. He was then 15. He was studying as a military cadet in London.

Prince Al-Waleed has been in a coma in the hospital since the accident. That is why the member of the Saudi royal family was also known as ‘Sleeping Prince’.

In a video released by the Al-Waleed family five years ago, he was shaking his finger while in a coma. From this, he was expected to recover. However, despite the long efforts of specialist doctors in the United States and Spain, his physical condition did not improve.

Prince Khaled Bin Tall said that the funeral of the Imam Turki Mosque in Riyadh Al-Walid will be held on Sunday, July 20.

After the news of Prince Al-Waleed spread to a specialized medical center in Saudi Arabia, a shadow of mourning fell all over the country. The Sleeping Prince hashtag spread widely on social media.
