The Donald Trump administration has created a tension with the trade partners by imposing tariffs on both allies and opponents. To avoid this tariff, discussions and debates are underway at various levels.
The White House said a phone call between Donald Trump and XI Jinping this week. Their talk was expected to help reduce tensions between the two largest economies in the world.
But on Wednesday morning, the Donald Trump seems to have apparently faded the hope of an agreement. On his own Truth Social Platform, he wrote, ‘I like Chinese President XI Jinping’, I have always done, and will do in the future. But he is a very difficult man. It is really hard to deal with him!’
Asked about Donald Trump’s comments, Lin Jian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said, “China’s policy position is unchanged in the development of China-US relations,” said China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman.
China was the main target of the Donald Trump Shulkoppe in April. He imposed a 145 percent tariff on the country’s product. In response, China announced a 125 percent tariff on imported goods from the United States.
In May, both sides temporarily agreed to reduce tension. Washington suspended the tariffs imposed on other countries till July 9.
