
The roof of a public school located in Jhalawar, India’s Rajasthan, collapsed. In this tragic incident, multiple children are expected to die and many more children are stuck under the wreckage. Rescue operations are underway and the casualties are expected to increase.
The Indian media Aajtak Bangla reported that the Govt Upper Primary School Piplodi’s roof collapsed suddenly on Friday. At that time the teaching was going on in the class. Many students are pressed under the roof.
According to the initial information, there were about 60 children inside the class. About 25 people are expected to be pressed. So far 4 people have been reported to death.
Meanwhile, locals started trying to rescue the children under the ruins.
Jhalawar police officer Amit Kumar said, ” Four children died in the incident. 17 were injured. Ten children have been referred to Jhalawar. Of these, the condition of three to four is alarming.
