After the much-talked-about movie King, Shah Rukh Khan is coming back with another big bang. It is not a rumour, now the sequel to Jawan is going to take shape in reality. According to a report by India Today, the script for the sequel to the blockbuster movie Jawan has already been finalised.
After months of speculation, the film’s story and screenplay have been finalised. A related source said, “The story of Jawan 2 has been in the works for quite some time. The script was finalized a few weeks ago. Shah Rukh Khan will start shooting for the film after completing his current project King.”
If everything goes well, the shooting of this mega project is expected to start next year.
After the brilliant performance of Vijay Sethupathi in the first part of this franchise, this time, director Atlee is planning a big surprise as the villain. According to sources, the makers are thinking of casting a leading star of South Indian cinema as the main villain.
Released in 2023, Jawan created history by grossing more than 100 crores worldwide. Special appearances by Seva’s Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone take the movie to unique heights.
Meanwhile, Atlee’s first Hindi film as a director has put him in the list of top directors in Bollywood. The successful duo of 60-year-old Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee is all set to storm the theaters once again.
Atlee is currently busy with his science-fiction film Raka. This big-budget movie stars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone. After completing Raka, he will work on Jawan 2. However, there is no official announcement about the movie yet.
