Mustafizur Rahman–Nahid Rana not getting NOC for the rest of the PSL

There were 6 Bangladeshi players in this season of PSL. Lahore Qalandars had Parvez Hossain Emon and Mustafizur Rahman. Along with Peshawar Zalmi were Shoriful Islam, Nahid Rana, and Tanzid Hasan Tamim. Besides, Rishad Hossain was in Rawalpindi.

It was said that Mustafizur Rahman would return to PSL after the ODI series. But that’s not happening anymore. Mustafiz’s NOC for the remainder of the PSL has been revoked due to injury. Besides, BCB is not giving NOC to another pacer Nahid Rana for the rest of the PSL.

Mustafizur and Rana can’t play for the rest of the PS. 6 Bangladeshis were playing in this edition of the PSL. Lahore Qalandars had Parvez Hossain Emon and Mustafizur Rahman. In a press release, BCB said Mustafizur Rahman will undergo a scan after the third ODI to monitor his condition. After the scan, he will start the rehabilitation process under BCB’s medical team. The NOC granted to him for the remainder of the PSL has been revoked.

On the other hand, BCB said that Nahid Rana is not being released anymore. BCB is not giving him NOC for the remainder of the PSL to rest him ahead of the Test series against Pakistan next month.

Among the remaining cricketers, Parvez Hossain Emon’s PSL is already over. Rishad Hossain’s team Rawalpindi has no chance to play in the next round. Only Shoriful Islam and Tanzid Hasan Tamim remain—both of whose sides Peshawar Zalmi have made it to the playoffs. But the duo will play in the T20 series against New Zealand for now.

The Kiwi series ends on May 2, the PSL final on May 3. So their PSL the possibility of returning is very slim.
