According to the information received, the police recovered the mutilated body of the missing Jamil Ahmed Limon (27). On the other hand, his partner Nahida Sultana Bristy (27) is still missing but her family and investigative agencies say her survival is slim.
Background of the event
Jamil Ahmed Limon and Nahida Sultana Bristy were both studying at the University of South Florida (USF). Limon was a student of Geography, Environmental Science, and Policy, and Bristy was pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering. They were close to each other in personal life and were planning to get married soon, according to the family.
The two were last seen in public on April 16, 2026. Since then, no trace of them could be found. Limon was last seen at his off-campus apartment and Bristy was seen an hour later in front of a science building on campus.
How the body was recovered
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office recovered Jamil Limon’s body from under the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa, Florida on the morning of April 24, 2026 (Friday), eight days after his disappearance. According to the police, the recovered body was very mutilated and mutilated.

On the other hand, the body of Nahida Sultana Bristy is yet to be recovered officially but her brother Zahid Hasan Pranto has confirmed her death on social media. According to police information, the suspect has destroyed or lost Rain’s body in such a way that it is uncertain whether it will be fully recovered. However, it is said that his DNA was found to be a match with Rain Basa’s blood sample.
Main accused
Police arrested Limon’s roommate Hisham Saleh Abugharbeih (26) as the main suspect in the brutal incident. During his arrest, he obstructed the police and barricaded himself in a room. Later SWAT Teams and Crisis NegotiatorsHis intervention took him into custody.
