
USA to provide more than 2.19 million Measles-Rubella (MR) emergency vaccinations for children in Bangladesh. The USA Embassy in Dhaka informed this information in a message on Wednesday (February 15).
According to the U.S. Embassy, the United States, through UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), is assisting the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh in the emergency Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccination program. More than 2.19 million vaccinations will be given under this programme, which will protect 1.20 million children under the age of five.
